Call for Papers: Alternative Media and New Public Settings

The Peace Institute, Institute for Contemporary Social and Political Studies, Ljubljana, together with the Slovenian Communication Association, Ljubljana, and Masaryk University, Brno will hold an international conference on October 13–14, 2006 in Ljubljana to discuss how new media development has influenced the terrain for alternative media use in its relation to citizens’ empowerment.Call for papers is open - deadline for abstracts is April 25, 2006, deadline for papers is September 5, 2006.
