
Jovana Mihajlović Trbovc graduated in international relations from Faculty of Political Science, University of Belgrade, and gained BSc in Politics and International Relations from London School of Economics and Political Science in 2006. She gained MA in Nationalism Studies at Central European University in 2008. In 2009 she enrolled with Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, program
Balkan Studies, where she is working on comparative analysis of processes of coming to terms with the past and state building in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Rwanda. She worked as information management and research assistant in Canadian International Development Agency in Belgrade and later as journalist and commentator on Radio Študent, Ljubljana. At the Peace Institute she is working on the projects that are theoretically and practically involved with Rwanda.
