Mojca Pajnik, PhD in communication studies (Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana, 2005), is a scientific counsellor, a researcher at the Peace Institute and assistant professor at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana. Downing) of Alternative Media and the Politics of Resistance: Perspective and Challenges (2008), co-author of a few books on migration and gender and author of many articles. She is head of the OSI East East: Partnership Beyond Borders Program at the Peace Institute; since 2001 she is the editor of Politike Symposion series.

The European Court of Human Rights today issued a judgment against the RS in favor of a group of applicants who filed an application complaining about their unlawful “erasure” from the registry of permanent residence in 1992 soon after the Slovenia’s declaration of independence.
