
Mag. Neža Kogovšek je obtained her degree in law in 2002 at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Law. As a Ron Brown fellow she obtained her Masters degree at the University of Notre Dame, United States of America, in international human rights law in 2004. She worked at the Legal Information Centre of Non-governmental Organizations – LIC in Ljubljana, and at the international non-governmental organization Human Rights Watch in New York. In 2005 she joined the research team at the Peace Institute where she contonues to work on human rights. She cooperates with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and numerous organizations abroad. She also cooperates with the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Law as an asylum law Moot Court coach and a lecturer at the Asylum Legal Clinic. Since 2007 she is a member of the European Network of Legal Experts in the Anti-Discrimination Field.
