Anti-Discrimination and Diversity Training

The aim of the project is to raise awareness of the civil society and actors in the field of employment through training on legislation and case law in the area of anti-discrimination, on the situation of the vulnerable groups in their everyday life and the possibile activities combatting discrimination. The special aim of the Diversity management seminar is to raise awareness of the employers on the economic damage that discrimination migth cause and the advantages of inclusion of different people in the work process.



Project execution

The first seminar, planned for September 2007, will focus on basic issues and is intended for the representatives of Ngos and trade unions.

The second seminar will be a follow-up seminar, it will be held in 2008 and will be intended for those who attended the Peace Institute anti-discrimination seminars on 15.16 June 2005 in Ribno Bled or those who attended the seminar on 19-20 September 2007 in City Hotel Ljubljana.

The third seminar will focus on diversity management will be held on 17 January 2008. It is intended for the representatives of employers’ organizations. One of them will be invited to participate as the co-host of the seminar.
