Building Support for Media and Journalism Targets in the EU Enlargement Countries

The project aims at maximising the impact of the work of the South East European Media Observatory, building on its research on the factors that affect independent media in that region in order to foster support by intergovernmental, governmental and civil society stakeholders for media and journalism reforms in the EU-enlargement countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey).



Project execution

Realization in 2014
Launch of the project at the meting of the regional partnership of eight civil society organisations, including the Peace Institute as a project coordinator and seven partner organisations from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Tukey.

Regional conference on anti-corruption in the media organised within the South East Eurpean Media Observatory.
