The Relaxed Ideology of the Slovenes. On the Political Implications of the Philosopheme Relaxedness

The author analyses the form in which Heidegger’s concept of Gelassenheit (relaxedness) appeared in numerous philosophical, political, media and other contexts. Following the example of Plato’s state governed by philosophers-rulers, Slovenia was given a philosophical concept almost governing the state, without anyone clearly stating or explaining to the citizens what stands behind this concept and why Gelassenheit, alias relaxedness, is what we need as social guidance.
