• As a member of management committee Mojca Pajnik will participate at a meeting of COST Action ProsPol, Comparing European Prostitution Policies: Understanding Scales and Cultures of Governance in Porto, Portugal, September 21-23. The next ProsPol meeting gathering researchers and activists from across Europe will be organized in Ljubljana, March 21-23, 2016. More on the action is available here http://prospol.eu/is1209/

 

• In October the Peace Insitute will organize an awarness rising campaign and public discussion about the gender based pension gap which in Slovenia amounts to as much as 29% despite one of the lowest pay gap in the European Union, good quality child care policies and consequent mass uninterrupted full-time employment of women. The events will be organized within the framework of the international project Promote Equal Pay to Diminish Pension Gap, Poverty and Social Exclusion funded by Progress Program.
