The groups of trainers (from each of the three countries six trainers attended the seminar) will carry out seminars in their own countries in order to raise awareness on the importance of monitoring of the border procedures and access to asylum procedure, as well as to assess the possibility to establish border monitoring mechanisms in their own countries.

The seminar is part of the project AENEAS – Protection of Asylum Seekers in the Republic of Croatia and the Region, coordinated by the Croatia Law Centre from Zagreb. The implementation of the project in Slovenia is financially supported by the European Commission and Open Society Institute. For additional information please e-mail neza.kogovsek(at)
