Two team members of POP-MED project attended the ECPR (European Consortium for Political Research) conference that took place in Wroclaw in Poland, September 3-7, 2019. In her paper »Ethno-nationalist and Anti-gender Populism in Slovenia« Mojca Pajnik analysed populism at the intersection of ethno-nationalism and anti-genderism while Daniel Thiele in his talk »”Emotional Framing in Right-Wing Populist Communication on Twitter. A German Dictionary-Based Measurement« showed how communication of political parties reveals elements of populism in their correlation with emotional speech on Twitter.
